Review and Clean Out Inventory
If you are an annual/perennial grower using Direct To Store / Merch (DTS) it is time to clear your inventory in preparation for spring in the new year. If you are an annual grower, this is a great time to review your inventory and clean out all of the annuals that you are not currently growing. If 80-90% of your inventory is cleared out of the greenhouse this task will be much easier.
Steps to True Up Your Data
If you grow perennials or tropical plants year-round, look at your Store levels inventory to determine which products you are not currently growing and clear those out. These are the steps to true up your Data. First, check your stores/SKU onhand inventory. At times you could see the inventory that needs cleaning up as well if shipped prices were not updated during shipping season. If you are selling trees, and shrubs, you will have to count that inventory via a store count on the mobile device, but for all of the products that are not growing this time of year, it is an excellent time to clear out your data and true up your numbers so that you have accurate inventory and start spring off with fresh clean data.
